My 1st Round card

I so owe the inspiration to Tracy Gough from Scrap Happens I so scraplifted it from her! She so saved me I have been trying for days to come up with a good card idea for my mother in laws mothers day card! I had these 2 stamps that I knew I wanted to use and I have been wanting to do a card like this for some time when I saw hers it just clicked!
It is hard to tell but I stamped and embossed the M (which is a $1 stamp from craft warehouse) I made the base of the card in CDS used my MS punch and some "bling" (also from CW's $1 bin) The bird stamp is a $1 one from Joann's
Thanks again Tracy you made my Day!

Apple card

This one was for my sons teachers. so I thought I would use CDS to make a shape card It is pretty simple but I like the way it came out!

More card for Mothers day

Here is a card that was so fun to do I have been trying to use up some scraps cause the scarp file is over flowing and cards are a great way to use up some of that! I used another Lola (love these!) I also used the MS punch (another fav) the "flower on the front was an old pin that I just cut the back off of. This card is heavy! this is not one that will be going through the mail unless it is in a package! the inside says " If I had a flower for every time I thought of you I could walk in my garden forever" this is another one that would make a great mothers day card but does not have to be used for that

This card I did after the pink and green wedding card I just love the colors! It is hard to read in the picture but the buckle says " joyful" I thought this would make a good mothers day card or a just because the inside is blank. The tag was made using chipboard tag that I covered with white paper and the sentiment was made using an ABC set

Going to the Chapel

This was another card that I was asked to make as soon as I heard the color this just popped into my head (and I hurried to get it out) LOL I love it when a plan comes together!

I used the Lola stamped image (still kicking myself that I did not buy the other set cause now you cannot get them!) the stamps are from the $1 bin (sorry I think Joanns but not sure) The "heart buckle" just goes to show that you so not throw anything out that you think you might use (it came from a headband LOL) I used my paper tagger and some chipboard that I just covered with white (I got tons of the stuck on of those color bok cubes they had a Wal-Mart) the ribbon was form the $1 bin (M's I think) the inside just says best wishes

New pair

I had a request for another pantie card! I had so much fun making the 1st one I was game! I am pretty sure that I might never run out of sentiments to put in these this on is still on hold waiting for the person who commissioned it to approve what I have came up with but it has been so long I though I should post something LOL

eBay

So I thought that I would give ebay a shot and try and sell some of what I make. I have not had that much luck on Etsy lately I am sure that with the economy being the way it it is it just might be hard to sell anything, anywhere! But you never know til you try!

So 1st up I have several different tear bears I used my Cricut for the clothes but made the tear bears by hand. I would love to hear some feedback if you have any! As I put new things up I will share with you what is on there.

Thanks Davia

Birthday invites!

ok so I had to come up with some thing fun for my son's birthday invites. Since I do not have a Star Wars or Lego cart I went with these robots that are on the "Cuttle Kids" I figured that they were about as close as I was going to get and thankfully he loved them!

I made the base of the card in DS using PSB & MF, I cut out the "planet shape" shape and then ran it through the CB Then I cut out a bunch of robots in a few different colors the cut and put together with little "bling" for buttons and eyes.

Play time @ play land

This LO is for my sons book this was the 1st Birthday party that he was invited to. It was for the daughter of one of my coworkers and it was at McDonald's so I knew that he would have fun.
I love the look of the hinges I was never sure what I would do with them when I saw them on my FF cart but I though I would try this and I love the way it came out! I read all the time about how you should write on your kids LO but I hate the way it looks with my writing, but after coming across a few letters that my mom wrote to me over the years I could see how the kids might like to have samples of my writing so I am always looking for way to do it with out messing up the LO (which is how I feel when I see my writing) so this way you just lift up the photo and can see what is written underneathThis picture also lifts up but there is nothing under it at this time might add something later

Christmas cards

The picture is of my 2 kids, Santa and his helper Taunie my daughter knows and loves Taunie and would not go near Santa so I was glad that he had a helper that day so that I could get both of my kids picture with "Santa"

Ok Ok I know we are all pretty much over this but I still wanted to share what I came up with if there is anything that you want to know about them let me know otherwise just take a look at the pix and let me know what you think!

wow so crazy

Ok so I have been gone for a bit but trying to get back into things I have a few things that I am going to post now to try and get caught up so forgive the random!

Well part of the reason that I have been away is cause, my husband and I have been trying to loose some weight and eat better. Working towards be more healthy, not only for our selves but for our kids as well.
Roger (my husband) started about a month before me he is so great about these things he has been my inspiration through all of this. He has lost around 50 pound since the beginning of December! I joined him in the pursuit of being healthy on January 9th. I have been working out and eating better with a little help from the Alli pill. I t works great and really helps to keep me on track. I have lost close to 20 pounds and 14.5 inches since starting! I do the Biggest Looser weight loss Yoga and let me tell you it is a work out! I would recommend it to anyone want to get some great tone! I cannot believe how much it has helped me!
ok well enough of that I will try and be better about posting things as I get the time to do them and such I hope you enjoy what I have manages to get done int eh last few months since I posted last!

Hello Kitty Can

I made this can for a little girl that my daughter goes to preschool with. She invited Syd to her birthday party, Since this was the 1st party that my daughter has been invited too (without brother) she is really excited. I was at Target and they ahd all this cute Hello Kitty stuff in the dollar spot so I picked up some of the cuter stuff to put in the can. I made one like this for a friends little girl and with all the other stuff she got that day the can and the little book that i covered and put in there was the thing that she was playing with the most. I put "Kailis stuff" on the can so that she could keep her trinkets in it. I think most little girls like being able to have somewhere to keep their spacial things.

I used DS and MF to weld and cut her name. I then used the new Hello Kitty die from Sizzix. Then I used the threading water edge punch, a chip board tag, $1 stamps, Prima's and skittles. I then finished off the lid with some "fun fur" (since I just learned to knit) I really like the way that it came out!

Halloween Treat cans

Ok so I wanted to make something for my kids teachers for Halloween, since this is one of my favorite holidays! Also I think it is good to let the spacial people in your life know that you are thinking of them and who is more spacial than teachers!? So I made the mistake of asking my 4 year old what she thought we should do with this can. Well funny enough my daughter is scared of just about everything right now but she wanted to go with this scary grave yard theme. I started with a recycled can (mocha mix from Costco) I covered it with dark blue paper (CM) I then cut the grass (PDDU) and inked it (distressing ink pine needle) Then I cut the grave stones and the arch (PDDU) inked them (pine needle) then covered them with embossing powder (distressed black shoot) For the witch I colored a circle using colored pencils then odorless mineral spirits to blend, then stamped with Versa mark then black embossing powder. The trio of spooked is also a stamp that I embossed then cut out so that they would look like they were lurking in the back ground. The Spider is also a CB die I then covered with diamond glaze and added red bling for the eyes. He is hanging by a piece of thread.
I then cut the fence (PDDU) and inked it (vintage photo) I cut it to fit in between the grave stones. I cut the ghost's on the CB using ( CB and Quickcut dies) Then the pumpkins and the bats which were also CB. I then poked holes in the can and used some small gauge wire which I wound into a spring and used glue dots to attach to the can. Oh I almost forgot my cute little skulls which are also CB I used pop dot to put some of them on the head stones.

Even though I love the way the 1st can came out I figured that if I was going to get 2 more of these done I better try something with a little less detail!
I have some great Halloween papers so I figured I would use some of those. I also had my new MS drippy goo to put to some good use. I also had just revamped my daughters witch costume so I had some extra feathers from that.

This is the can I made for the great ladies that work in the office at my sons school. They are always so nice when me or my husband goes into the school. They are also the ones that have had to make sure that my son took his med's everyday after lunch.

This is the one that I made for my sons teacher she has been great with him this year and I know that he can be a bit of a challenge at times! He is in a 1st/2nd grade split so you know that she has her hand full!

All 3 of the cans had homemade popcorn balls and chocolate chip, coconut banana bread

Mr Bones bag

I made this bag for some friends that live in Idaho. I thought the kids would get a kick out of it! I used PDDU for "Mr Bones" and I used PS for the bag. I did it in DS and stretched it to fit a 12x12 mat. Paper is from DCWV. I alss used my MS drippy goo punch around the top. The tag reads "Now you've been Boo'ed oh what should you do? Don't sit there and Boo Hoo go out and Boo someone too" I also gave them the Mr Bones card that I posted a While back.

Oliver Thank U

This is a card that I made for my good friend Alicia to give to her vet who has taken such great care of her animals over the years. She just had her cat Oliver in there and the vet took extra good care of him and she wanted to say thanks, so this is what I came up with the kitty on here looks as close to Little Oliver as I could get! I used AK for the pattern of my little tear kitty. The eyes and nose are Peachy Keen stamps. then I used some thread for whiskers and a bell I had laying around (see there is a reason for all the clutter!) I then put the kitty on a chip board circle and used some chipboard letters that I have. I have left the inside blank so that she can write a spacial message. I am very happy with how this little guy came out!

little pixy

I am so happy with how this LO turned out! I was inspired by Jill It is my 1st try at tear bears & my 1st time sewing on the photo mats and ribbon! I love the look but am always scared to try this but since I had an extra set of these pictures I went for it!

The sign is from PDDU knight I sized it using CDS

The Flowers are Primma's and the buttons are just some of my vast collection.

This is my very 1st tear bear! Man she was a lot of fun to make but let me tell you they are time consuming! I used PDDU pixy for the dress, shoes and wand, which I sized in CDS to get the right fit. The wings are for the PDDU angel, which I used the CB swirls folder on and used Versa Mark and shimmer chalk on. The belts is just some random pearl strand that I had laying around as are the bows on both bears. The eyes and nose are Peachy Keen stamps

Here is a close up of my pixy bear and her sign again I used PDDU pixy to make the shoes ( I cut 2 pairs then just used the right ones so that they were pointing the same way) and the dress, which I just cut in half. The wings I also cut in half, embossed with the CB ( the folder I got from Oh My Crafts tehy have great prices on all the Cuttle Bug stuff!) and used Versa mark and chalk over the swirls. Then layered them, again to make her look like she was standing to the side.

I did the quote on the computer the type is called Fairy dust and I think that I got it at
http://www.dafonts.com/ I then used the Ranger Embossing pen and Bridal powder to make a few words "pop"
