what I have been up to

Ok so I have had many cards that I have needed over the past few weeks and I want to share so I am going to post them here

I had to remove the card that I made for my sister in law cause it was Published!

This one was for Kathy's birthday the inside says "happy birthday to the reigning leader!"

This card was a special order for a wedding

This was for my brother in laws birthday, I think I was pretty nice since he turned forty and I did not make fun of him!


This was for my niece I cannot believe that she is 19! man that makes me feel old!



This was another spacial order. The card says "Twice the giggles twice the grins congratulations on your twins!"

Herd you were

This is a card I made for a dear friend after I missed her birthday ( I know I know what a horrid friend I am) The inside says " I bet all those other fools sent cards on time!"

Custom Order

this was a custom order that I did for a friend in VA so I did all of these in about a week this is a thank you card for a baseball themed birthday party, the inside says thanks for making my birthday a home run! These were pretty simple just stitched the round card (I made 6 of these)

This is a card for a wedding I using the wedding colors. The bride is a big fairy fan so I just had to use good old Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell Birthday card

I made this card for my daughter to take to a party on Saturday I have been waiting to have a good reason to use my 2 new carts and this was it!
I used design studio to weld the card together the cupcake is from Home Decor and is 5 1/2 by 5 with Tinker Bell sitting on top (she is 5 1/2 by 8) and I used a Square from Plantin School books I then layered the cupcake with some "chip board" to help make it stand up (cutting it in blackout like the base) I then layered the colored parts after inking with antique linen, distress ink. I then layered the base of Tinker over the top of the blackout that I weld to the cupcake , layering up from there and using chalks to shade. added a little ribbon and a button with a J for the spacial little girl who this is for.

The inside say Pixie Perfect Birthday using several differant stamps

Lola Birthday card

I love this Lola she is so cute and I am really liking doing the round cards! the paper is Heidi Grace which is wonderful (love the pink and Brown) I used CDS to make the round card, the Fiskars punch and some chip board ribbon and bling. There is also some Diamond glaze on her drink. I left the inside blank cause this was a card for Kala Cota to give her daughter for her 21st birthday and she wanted to do the sentiment on the inside

Monster truck Birthday card

This is the 1st Dustin Pike image that I have use and let me tell you I am a fan! I will be using more of his work! If you have not seen his work before please check out his site. I made this for my nephew that just turned 20 this week! (I think that I am too young to have one this old but oh well;) I used CM pens to color the image and Diamond glaze on the windows. The sentiment was something my friend Kala Cota came up with for me (she always amazes me with her words) The inside says "Hope you have a monster of a Birthday"

Cards for River Fest

I have been very busy trying to get up a good stash to take to River Fest with me here are some cards I did over the weekend I would love to know what you all think!

I have seen this Owl card done by many others before me but I just could not help making one of my own! I used DS for the card and the envie. It is hard to tell from the photo but the brown paper on the owl is flocked and looks really neat in person. The inside says "Woo loves you baby"

I just love this cut from HEA so I used DS to make this card any little princess would love to get. I used the Martha lace punch on the envie





Ok so I decided that I needed a few shaped cards! I love my Big Bug and figured I should use some of the great things on some of these carts that I have. I made this using DS and PDDU it is hard to tell from the picture but "Mr. Bones" is cut out in the front and the patterned paper that you see is on the inside of the card. Happy Haunting is a rub on. I also made the envie from DS


ok I have had this little guy laying around for some time now I made him for a project that never quite happened. I made the baby using NA and the fireman outfit is a sizzix dress up die. the inside says " I know how much you like a guy in uniform. Happy Birthday"

Love these girls you can just do so much with them! the hat is a rub on the pumpkin is a brad. I used the treading water punch some ghost and chip board stars that I inked then added UTEP to. the sediment is a stamp

Ok I just love Lola Rose and her Sister I am really wanting to get another download of these girls they are just too cute! I made the greeting using word art and a dollar stamp. the metal charm is one from a card making set (it is suppose to stick to the card but I used my handy little crop-a-dile to make a hole then used the paper tagger to adhere)

This was just one that was to fun to pass up I am trying to get some variety in my cards and this is just too cute

I always for get how much I love the PP cart until I cut something from it I really like how this one came out. the inside says "wish you were here"

This is a fun little birthday cards that I did using PP. the inside says " I hunted and Hunted for the best dog-gone birthday gift around, but i had to settle for the best dog-gone card instead Happy Birthday"

Girly Bithday set

Ok I loved the box so much that I just had to keep making them. Then I hit a snag something went crazy with my CDS and I had to remake the box that I had saved for my first 2 projects. The up side though is I think I like the new box better! I Used Lilly and Lola Rose for this set (I just can no get enough of these images!) I also used my new boarder punches two of them are from Fiskars and the 3rd is a Martha Stewart one. I used the computer to print the insert for the 2 cards with writing in them the one that just says happy birthday is a CM sticker, which there are a few of those on the fronts of the cards as well

So excited about his one!

I have had this idea in my head for some time! I think that I saw something like this in one of the craft magazines but I can not be sure which one. I got these glasses at target in the $ spot and just knew what to do with them right off! Although it has taken me months to do it LOL!

The card is 6x6, with the box being just a tad bigger. I used the treading water punch on the side of the card. The box was made using CDS (I am so in love with right now!) the paper is from a Heidi Swapp stack I got at Costco (this paper is great get you some if you can!) I used some Prima's an old button, some beads, Skittles and fuzzy yarn this was a lot of fun to make! Oh and the inside is from the computer and then I used the threading water punch again. It is hard to tell from the pix but there is acetate inside the circle on the front If you have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks for looking

tomiannie rummage challenge

Ok so I took the challenge! I have been having a creative block lately so I thought what a better way to get out of my funk than to dig in the paper scraps for the paper that I will work with! I pulled out this bright pink dot paper. I hope that you can not tell but it was not even big enough to cover the card I wanted to use, so I used some ribbon to cover that up! So in keeping with the challenge I used stuff that is just laying around, I had this Lily that I needed to use up so I went with that, then I thought well I will look in the scraps for something to use with the other paper and found the lighter pink paper then ran it through the Cuttle bug. Used some Prima's and my paper tagger to add a little something to the bow. a little bling and a brad int eh center of the flowers and there you go! I need several birthday cards so this will be great!

Jim's Birthday card

Ok so I had the challenge of creating a Birthday card for my father in law, I am sure that you all know that it seems like more of a challenge to make cards for guys, and you want to make something that they will like and you just never know.... So I asked his girlfriend what she thought, and she suggested a motor home card since they are going to be taking a trip to New york at the end of the month. But since the Going places cart is still on the wish list rather than in inventory ;) I had to find something else. When I saw the covered wagon on the paper dolls cart I knew what I had to do. You see we live in Oregon and since my father in law came out west form New York many years ago it just seemed prefect! I used the "rub on" idea from the Cricut MB http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=2034223 I also used my wonderful Design Studio
